International Women's Day

Did you know that the first International Women's Day was held in 1911 and its observed every year on the 8th March. It celebrates the social, political and economic achievements of women. International Women's Day is celebrated in over 100 countries and is currently a National Holiday in 35 countries (sadly not the UK). Today is a day to celebrate all the amazing women out there who keep strong, who have set backs but get back up. To all the women who are fantastic role models to the young girls, who inspire and encourage them. To all the women who are keeping things together. Where would we be without the fabulous mothers, sisters, grandmothers, aunties, daughters. I salute you all. I
