How to take great outdoor photographs of your children

It looks like the sun really has got his hat on. Dare I say summer has arrived? Okay so it might just be sunny this Bank Holiday Weekend but make the most of it, as it will probably be raining next week. If you want to take the best photographs you can while you are out and about this weekend, follow these simple tips to make your photographs fab. Keep it natural - no cheese! We have a tendency to try and pose our children for photographs. We try and place them in a particular position and make them smile on demand. But generally we end up with stiff poses and awkward smiles that don’t really capture the moment. Just let them do their thing and be ready to capture those special moments.

Mum's the word

"I am in love with a child I haven’t even met yet’ I have some exciting news to share with you. My very own little bundle of joy will be arriving this August. After years of taking portraits of other people's children, I will finally be able to take some photographs of my own baby. A few people have said that this baby is going to be the most photographed baby in Cheshire (which might very well be true) but all I know is that I am so excited to be on this special journey called Motherhood. Already, I am so in love this my growing baby inside me. Every kick and punch is so precious, I can't stop rubbing my belly to feel even closer to my baby even though my baby cannot be any closer to me
